Velta's legacy extends through her years of service in the medical industry as a nurse aide, where she positively impacted the lives of countless individuals.
Velta was a cherished member and past Matron of the Golden Star Chapter #1, 5th District of the Order of the Eastern Star for 57 years. Her commitment to this organization symbolizes her deep-rooted values of fellowship and service.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Velta will remember her for her warm smile and generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be forever cherished by her surviving family members and friends.
Services to honor and celebrate Velta's life will be held at Mt Zion Baptist Church on June 12, 2024. A Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
