Vilma P. Hylton, 77, went Home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2025, surrounded by peace in the home she cherished for nearly 40 years.

Vilma dedicated 35 years of service to Children's Hospital, working from October 1975 until her retirement in November 2010. Her kindness, resilience, and commitment to others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She was the beloved mother of Angela Reid, cherished mother-in-law to Rory, and devoted grandmother to Reina, Reaghann and Rochelle who brought her endless joy.
Vilma is survived by her loving partner, Anthony Forde; siblings, Alphonso Brown, Mario Jones, Johnathan(Saturnina) Jones, Samuel Jones, Julio (Alina) Jones, and Julia (Bryan) Edward; as well as Mary Esther Forde and Jimmie Rainer. Her extended family includes Essie Wall and her daughters-Karen, Angela, Michelle, Donna, and Jacqueline-who were like family to her.
