Wanda Dunning

Wanda Jane Dunning, of Columbus, Ohio, 73, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Mattie Lou Dunning. Wanda was a lifelong resident of Columbus and a proud graduate of Linden McKinley High School. Wanda was a devoted mother who found her greatest joy in being with her family. She enjoyed a good steak and potatoes. Her son Anthony Dunning was the joy of her life. 

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Lou Dunning; brothers David Dunning, Orlando Dunning, and Alfred Dunning; sister Deborah Dunning; and her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Minerva) Dunning, sister Joan Dunning, and her brother, Charles (Termite) Dunning. Wanda also leaves behind grandchildren Anthony Dunning, Jr, Calvin Dunning, Devon Barnes-Dunning, Tiffany (Eric) Davis, and Anthony Dunning II, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends who will continue to honor her memory. Wanda's legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on through her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
