Willie Lawrence Brown transitioned to the arms of the Lord on August 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 17, 1941, Willie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was deeply connected to the family he loved.

Willie was the son of the late Harvey Brown and Eura Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and several of his siblings: Daisy Brown, Barbara Henderson, Richard Brown, Harvey Brown Jr., and Francine Marsillio.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving Wife: Mary Brown; his Daughter: Tonya (Edward) Temple; his Son: Andy Brown; his Grandchildren: Edward Temple, Joseph Temple, Juilus Jones, Tenaya Young, Rayshawna Massey; Siblings: Evans Brown, Paula Brown, and Linda Brown, along with extended family members and friends who will remember and miss him dearly.

After retirement from Nationwide Insurance, Willie spent his time with his wife and family that he loved and cherished. Willie's 84 years were a blessing to those who knew him. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and the many lives he touched throughout his lifetime. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the love, memories, and legacy he leaves behind will remain with his family for generations to come.
