Olan Reggie Epps, better known as “O’Lando or Mr. O” was born May 13, 1936 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Clarence and Magnolia Epps; finished his course Saturday September 21, 2019 surrounded by his children.

He was a graduate of Excelsior High School then received an honorable discharge from the United States Air force, after serving four years.

He was employed for several years by The Ohio State University, where he loved working at Dodd Hall. Later he was employed by Timken Roller Bearing Company, retiring after 36 1/2 years. O’Lando lived a good life. He did it “his way.” He loved helping his children and grandchildren. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He leaves to cherish his memories; children Kevin, O’Lando II. (Jacqueline), and Monica, Ranatta (Kristopher), sister Rev. Erma Greathouse, adopted daughters Jeannie and Jerneen, also a host of other relatives and friends.

Olan will by forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, October 4, 2019 at Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace North, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Dayton National Cemetery.
