Pamala Denise Dawson-Helms, at age 60 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was born to Mary Irvine and Ronald Dawson~-Cavell on September 16, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio. She was one of nine children.

Pamala was a pillar in her family. She had a special relationship with each of her children, her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She loved spending time with her family playing games such as Bingo, Hitting those slot machines, and cooking. Her favorite T.V. series were Walking Dead and Big Brother.

Pamala was a Computer Tech and could fix any issue you had on your computer.

Pamala is loved by all and will be missed truly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Irvine and Ronald Dawson-Cavell; Siblings, Michelle Dawson, Ronald Dawson, John Dawson and
Charles Dawson; nephews, Robert Dawson and Timothy Dawson; and niece, Javona Dawson.

Pamala is survived by her husband, Darrell Helms; children, Lishaunda (Jeff) Dawson, Litrinna Dawson and Daymien Dawson; grandchildren, Tymothy Dawson, Trey’amir Dawson, Apria Dawson and Jaiere Dawson; great grandson Elias Dawson; sisters, Mary Jackson and Teresa Dawson-Dalton; brothers, James Dawson and Virgil Dawson; uncle; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, February 18, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
