Patricia A. Bogan was born to William Bogan Sr. and Willie Mae Hughes in Memphis Tennessee on June 6, 1942. She made her heavenly transition on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Kobacker House after a long and tedious battle. She confessed Christ at an early age at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church, Memphis TN,

Patrica spend part of her teenage years in Memphis until the family relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1958, where she graduated with honors from The Columbus East High School in 1960. After graduating Patricia pursued her career at Grant Medical Center working as a dietitian and furthering her education in that field. After navigating in the Dietary Field, she began to open doors for other young people helping them secure employment and instilling working values.

She retired after 42 years of dedicated service. A devoted daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Friend and Child of God, she enjoyed spending quality time and providing for her two children. Patricia was committed to maintaining relationship with her high school friends. In her early years she could be found at the skating rink, celebrating a friend’s birthday, shopping, or going to the slot therapy shop. A faithful member of Saint Luke Baptist Church serving in the Choir, Culinary, Secretary, and Women’s Ministries. Also a previous member of the City Wide Pastor’s Partners.

Patricia is preceded in death by her Parents William Bogan Sr. and Willie Mae Hughes, Son: Michael Keith Bogan, Sisters; Doris L. Lipson, Edna P. Thomas, Sarah Ann Hughes, Rosetta Alexander-Moss (Memphis, TN), Pauline Woods (Memphis TN) Brothers: Calvin Alexander,YC Alexander Jr. (Memphis, TN)Brother-In- Law: Tommie L. Lipson. Nephews: Walter D. Lipson, Niece: Japonica Blackmon (Memphis, TN)

Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 1660 E. Main St.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
