Patricia “Patty” Keaton transitioned peacefully surrounded by family where she felt most comfortable and loved on Thursday the 13th of October, at the age of 82 from a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Patty was Born in 1940 on the 4th of March in Bluefield West Virginia, to her two loving parents, Ida Louise Williams Bridges and Thomas Williams. Patty was an extremely hard worker and had a tremendous love for God and her family! She graduated from Central High School and continued her studies at The Ohio State University. She retired from the State of Ohio after 30 years of service, where she then was asked to rejoin the department as a contractor.

She was known for fiery spirit, no BS attitude, unwavering faith and working in her garden. She also enjoyed thrifting with her late cousin Debby Waddell-Nicholson and sister-in-law Tonya Williams. She had a love for old time classic movies.

She was preceded in death by her, parents Thomas Williams and Ida Louise Williams Bridges, brothers Thomas Williams II and Michael Williams. Patty is survived by her brother Ronald Williams, special brother Gregory “Freedy” (Cathy) Waddell, sister Rose Anita Washington, her daughter Tracey Keaton, son Geoffrey (Lena) Keaton, grandchildren Brandi (John) Spencer, Amber Keaton, Janee Keaton, Geoffrey Keaton II, Aaron Keaton, Anthony Keaton, Olivia Keaton, Sean Keaton, great-grandchildren Allyson Spencer, Brayden Keaton, Bryce Spencer, special children Celia Elkins and Kristina (Krunch) Watkins-Williams, special grandchildren Latricia Henry-Dunkin, Typhani Watkins and special great-grandchild Domiawn Reynolds.

Patty will be greatly missed by those who loved her, especially by her siblings,children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and an abundance of loved ones.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Memorial Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

    Ms. Patti was one of the strongest, loving, fierce women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She welcomed me and my family with open arms from the start.
