Patricia Slayton


Patricia Ann Slayton was born September 22, 1953 and departed this life peacefully on April 20, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Slayton; parents, Annabelle and Tom; and brother, Herb.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, children, Sheila (Will), Tony (Victoria), Thomas (Diana), and Gary; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Patricia will be forever missed by family and friends.

Private Services entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Northlawn Memory Gardens.

      So sorry to hear about the lost of this beautiful wonderful woman she made a big impact on alot of people during her lifetime she was with us she had her own kids and grandkids but she had so much love to give that she treated me and my kids and husband like a mother and grandmother my kids called her Grandma Patty and my husband and I called her mom and she will truly be missed by many people and alot of people will feel like she not only left us but took part of them with her it’s going to hurt inside but we all must keep her memory alive and keep her in are hearts until that day we all are together again RIP RIH Patty missed but never forgotten

    I just want to say it hard for me to get over this I have been there from day one with u and dad on hospice it was rough taking care of u and dad watching u all the time but I know u are looking down on me and I really miss u alot mom I love u. You battle cancer for a long time and you never once stopped fighting . I know you are not in pain anymore . I love you grandma and miss you so much .       It was worth tbe fight being by her side until the end and watchjng her take her last breathe was the hardest pill to swallow still cant wrap my head around it your missed and loved .not goodbye its until i see u again knowing your not in pain anymore is good but ur family n friends wasnt ready to let u go ….
