Phyllis Jean Rawlings was born June 21, 1954 to Evelyn and William Rawlings, Sr. in East Beckley, West Virginia.

Phyllis graduated from Cleveland Glenville High School. Phyllis was born the third child out of four. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.

Phyllis worked at Clairmont, Hyatt, and Ohio State over the years. Phyllis retired after 31 years of service to The Ohio State University. Phyllis was passionate about Bingo and playing cards.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her mother and father; and sister Frances Becks.

Phyllis leaves mourning, her children, Jackie and Eric Rawlings; siblings, Ellen (Fred) Price and William Rawlings, Jr.; grandchildren, Tehila Holt, Isaiah Rawlings, Tramell Holt, India McDougald, and Tyler Rawlings;12 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Phyllis will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday, May 27, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
