Raejean Marie Harris, affectionately known as Sugar, was born June 12, 1947, to James and Helen Harris in Winona, West Virginia.

She married the late Vincent Beasley in 1966 and later welcomed their only son, Jeffrey. Later in 1974, she moved to Columbus, Ohio where she resided for the rest of her natural life.

Raejean was an avid bingo player who could play your cards and hers and the person next to her. She was the only person who could drive you absolutely insane while you still did whatever it was, she was asking you to do. Raejean was a loving and caring person whose love ran so deep, that she would give you the shirt off her back if you liked it. Raejean was the light and the spark in a room who knew just how to light up a room with fire and laughter. She was someone who had never met a stranger and once you met her, you automatically loved her.

Raejean peacefully transitioned from this life on July 3, 2022, where she is preceded in death by her parents; James William Harris and Helen Beatrice Harris.

She is survived by her only beloved son; Jeffrey Beasley, special niece; Anita Allen, grandchildren; Chacere Ellison (D’von) and Sierra Shepard (Raheem), best friend; Donna Wiley and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Memorial Service 2:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
