Rev. Jesse "Bobby" Wilson, was born September 7, 1938 to the late Jordon Wilson Sr.and Jessie Jackson Wilson in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Jesse Bobby Wilson departed from this life while resting peacefully in his home on August 12, 2014.
He move to Columbus, Ohio from Chicago, IL in September of 1973. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church under the late Pastor Brown. Bobby worked at Twin Valley Hospital until retiring after 32 years. He was president of the Union for a number of years until retirement.
he leaves to mourn two families, one in Columbus, Ohio; Allen Evans, Shirley Hogan Kendell Hogan and Kimberley Hogan Brown and his biological family brother Arthur Wilson in Chicago, sisters Mary Holman and Rosa Spann in Tuscaloosa, AL and Irene Trotter in Centranell, AL, special niece Janice Lancaster and a host of other relatives and friends.
THERE ARE SO MANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS THAT MR. WILSON ACCOMPLISHED. Mr. Wilson was instructmental in development of the Union at Coph, TVPS,and presently known as TWIN VALLEY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH. He serviced in a variety of positions such as Vice- President,.Union steward and best remembered OCSEA-AFSCME President at TWIN VALLEY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH Care,until he retired. BOBBY as he was known would take time to talk with us on any matter that concerned us. He was a concerned listener and a liaison between Mangement and Staff.. Representing us well with our concerns and working conditions. When Bobby retired there was a void. I had the privlege of working with Bobby in his role as OCSEA President at Twin Valley. He was a good and honest man with a depth of wisdom that few people have. I can hear his laugh, and trust that he is in God's loving arms.
This world is better because he was here.
