Rhoda Marie Guinn, age 52, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend passed to her heavenly home on March 2nd, 2018. She was born in Wilmington, Ohio and raised in Columbus, Ohio.

Rhoda enjoyed watching sports, visiting loved ones and especially enjoyed spending time with children. She was known as the fun aunt who always took kids to Chuck E Cheese, Magic Mountain, to the park, or to do a number of other exciting activities. She loved children so much that she even welcomed her nephews into her home to live with her so she could nurture and care for them. She was a very selfless, giving person and would do everything in her power to make sure that her loved ones were okay.

Rhoda is preceded in death by her father, Frederick Shumpert; grandparents, Dorothy Clemens, Bailey and Ila Walker; and brother, George Harrison Guinn.

Rhoda leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Tiara (Lance) Norman; mother, Mary Gary; special devoted friend, Robert (Jennifer) Norman, brother, Curtis (Edna) Guinn; sisters, Christine Guinn, Lanean (Ronald) Young, Jacqueline Guinn; brother, Max Guinn; sister-in-law, Annette McBride; best friend, Tracy Warfield; grandchild, Christian Oswalt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Rhoda will be missed by all who loved and had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday, March 8, 2018 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
