Rhonda Wattie Lewis, 62, of Columbus, Ohio, gained her Heavenly wings on April 6, 2022, at
Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 11, 1959, in Montgomery, WV to Virgil and Dorothy Wattie. While living in Montgomery, she was an active member of St. John Baptist Church of Morris Drive. She worked at Sears in Montgomery and Charleston, and upon moving to Ohio, she continued her tenure and retired from Sears in Ohio. Rhonda joined Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church after moving to Columbus.

Rhonda was a happy-go-lucky person. She always had a smile and a hearty laugh for everyone she met. She was blessed with a kidney transplant much earlier than expected. She never let it get her down. She was one that truly loved God, family, and life. She will be missed for her loving spirit.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Dorothy Wattie; sister, Beverly Wattie; and brother, Terry Wattie.

Rhonda leaves to mourn, husband, Larry Lewis of Columbus, OH; daughter, Kristi Wattie of Columbus, OH; adopted daughter, Krystal (Marion) Bowles of Atlanta, GA; stepson, Larry Coleman of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Shirley (Atiba) Davis of Kennesaw, GA and Rita (Garfield) of Boomer, WV; two brothers, Gary Wattie of Downington, PA and Darrell (Lisa) Boomer, WV; grandchildren, DeAnte’ Wattie and Kamron Wattie of Columbus, OH, and Zindaya Click of Huntington, WV; great-grandchildren, Braelynn and Bayleigh Wattie of Rand, WV.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Road.

Interment at Kanawaha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow, WV.
