It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Eric Neal Sr. announces his passing, on August 12, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, at the age of 83. He was born January 25, 1934 to Herling and Zelma Neal. He was the youngest of Constance, Morton and Donald.
Richard attended Central High School. He was wed in holy matrimony to Naomi Oglesby on April 29, 1952 and God blessed that union with three sons and three daughters .He was a hard working man. He began his career with the City of Worthington where he later retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Naomi Neal of fifty-three years; sister, Constance Neal Jones; brother, Donald Neal Sr. and grandson, Terry Neal.
Richard is survived by his loving children, Frances Pegram of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carolyn (Thomas) Slappy, Lisa (Frankie) Walton, Richard Neal Jr., Anthony (Kim) Neal, and Larry Neal, all of Columbus, Ohio; twenty-one grandchildren, fifty-one great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; brother, Morton Neal; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Richard will forever be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Richard was my uncle, and he was a kind, and wonderful man, we had good times together, and we will miss him dearly, rest in peace dear Uncle.
