Richard “Patch Eye” Lane was born on July 21,1964 to Ethel Lane in Columbus, Ohio.

Richard was a great brother, a great uncle and friend. He had a very kind, wonderful spirit and did no harm to no one. All He had for you was love, encouragement and jokes he loved to draw and would draw often with his great niece.

Richard had a very pleasing spirit anytime he was around the family he would let everyone know how much he loved them.

Richard is preceded in death by his great nephew Gavin Lane, his niece Layona Hill, his mother Ethel Lane-Tatum, his nephew Shanga Lane, his sister Robin Lane, grandmother Margie Davis and grandfather Fred Lane.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory his brothers William, Vincent, Jonathan (Louisa) Lane and Lamont Holt. His nieces Sheyoshi, Shira, Kazori, Audrey and Samantha Lane. Tasha (Paul) Glenn, Roslyn Campbell and Kayona Hill . His nephews Deloni Jenkins and Gabriel Lane. He also leaves a host of great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and friends.

Richard will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
