Robert A. Flewellen Jr. was born in Columbus OH, on July 6, 1952 to his parents the late Robert and Rosie Flewellen and Foster Parents Willie and Betty Pickens.

Robert was raised in Marion, OH with his surviving siblings, Dorothy Bray-Hudson, David Pickens, Willard Pickens, and Tracey Ann Malory. He graduated from Marion Harding High in 1970.

Robert started setting his family foundation with the birth of his first child with the late Judith Donetta Saunders. Robert moved to Columbus Ohio where he fell in love and married his surviving wife, Catherine Flewellen. Together they raised their three surviving children, Shasta Flewellen, Joe (Tabitha) Saunders, and Joseph Saunders and 10 grandchildren.

Robert A. Flewellen Jr. died unexpectedly at the age of 66 on June 30, 2019 in Columbus Ohio.

Robert was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend who will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
