Robert E Lewis Sr. was born July 3, 1951. Born to Agnes Lewis.
He graduated from East High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
He was an active member of the First Church of God and worked in the Hospitality department. He retired from the DSCC warehouse as a warehouse lead for over 25 years. He also worked in custodial services in the Columbus City Schools for about 7 years.
He was 69 years old when he went to be with the lord on March 7, 2021.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Agnes Lewis, his son Robert Jr. his daughter Katherine Lewis, sisters Betty Kendricks, Doris Chase and Teresa Norman.
He leaves to remember him, his loving wife Denise Lewis, grandchildren Robert III, Latashia, Wade and Ashanti Lewis, sisters Angie Charles, Evelyn King, Lorraine Brooks, Donna Smith, Lena and brothers David (Demietra) Lewis, Ronald Lewis, Armond Smith and host loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Mother of his grandchildren Monica Lewis Cleveland.
Robert will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Visitation 9:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 10:00 AM Thursday, March 18, 2021 at First Church of God, 3480 Refugee Rd.
Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
