Robert E. “Robby” Lyles IV, affectionately known as Robby, entered the lives of Robert E. Lyles III and Tara Choate on February 22, 1995.
Robby attended several Columbus Public Schools and classes for the handicapped and disabled. He graduated from West Central Franklin County School of Disabilities on May 24, 2017.
Robby transition from Earth to Heaven on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Robby leaves to cherish his memory, loving father, Robert E. (Sparkle Hairston) Lyles III; mother, Tara Choates; loving and devoted grandmother, Althea D. Lyles; sisters, Briana Na’sha and Brooklyn Nicole Lyles; brother, Bryan Nathaniel Lyles; eight other siblings; special cousin and partner in crime, Denzell Troy Lyles; aunt, Alberta N. (Rome M.) Nelson; great aunts, Delores Mitchell of Nashville, TN and Sandra M. (Martin) Whitfield of Northport, AL; special aunt, Dorcy L Reeves; nurse mommy, Holly Whitaker; the staff at Heizerling Memorial Foundation; the staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital H8 A&B; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, special relatives and friends.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Monday, March 16, 2020 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates

To the Lyles family you have my deepest condolences on your lost may the father Yah grace you with peace and Healing on the going home of Robby lyles peace family sis Betty wade. P.S. for the joy of the lord is your strength much love.
To the Lyles Family you have my deepest and heartfelt condolences. Robbie was an AMAZING young man a BRAVE fighter. Just know that you touched so many lives at HMF with your warm heart and bright smile. Robbie you will truly be missed. ‘‘ Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace.
We know this must be a very difficult and demanding time for your family. You have our deepest sympathy. May the God of all comfort help to ease the pain of your grief. Truly sorry for your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Lyles family. I pray for your strength during this difficult time. My heart is heavy for all who knew this precious young man. May God continue to provide you comfort during this time.
It might sound weird to say, but I am thankful to God that He yet let Robbie’s life touch so many hearts and effortlessly fill so many with joy, even though his angelic being was trapped in a body of suffering. Now Robbie has been released from his earthly journey to be adorned with his wings and forever the joyous occasions in heaven.

Teardrops are falling. As we embrace this sad day. A handsome young man has just passed away.
So perfect his spirit, so perfect his love, So perfect a gift from a Father above. A child, the family is grieving this day, In our hearts God has told us why you couldn’t stay. A spirit so special, so perfect, and pure, should not have the trials of this life to endure. Then back to our Heavenly Father you went, fulfilling the mission for which you were sent.
Although our grief is heavy this day,
we know you are happy, and not far away. Loved ones have gathered close to your side. Life is Eternal…
Know that we love you with all of our heart. We’ll see you our dear one when this life we part. Save us a place where we’ll be close to you,
and in joy we’ll embrace, as our love we renew.
Lyles family, I have loved you guys as long as I can remember. We’ve been through a lot together and God has seen us though it- He will continue to see us through. Thank you for letting me be in Robbies life for sharing him with me. I treasure my memories of him. Praying with you. Love you to life.
I am truly sorry for you guys as lost may God guide your and keep your comfortable at this time I will be praying for you your whole entire family.

Omg I remember when this baby was born he And his mom lived with me For sometime. I feel so bad that I’m just hearing about this bc I would have been there! Sleep in peace Lil Robert bc u definitely didn’t deserve this.

7yrs ago you came into my life. This sweet innocent boy whom someone hurt. As your nurse I cared for you and as your nurse I was your voice because you could not speak. We shared so many amazing days.. dancing together at prom, watching movies, going to the library, going to your grandmother’s church and watching you graduate. You made me so better as a nurse. You were such a warrior through your health struggles and always kept fighting. Your family decided to give your life to others as an organ donor and to them I commend your strength and faith. You are truly a blessing in my life and now my beautiful guardian angel. I love you so much and will tell your story.. My brave little Robbie
