Robert was born January 11, 1943, and passed April 21, 2023. He was born in Rome, GA. to Nathaniel and Lona Mitchell.

Robert is a veteran who served in the U.S. Airforce.

He was a member of Vineyard Church in Westerville, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University. Robert was a business owner of Armenian Heating, Air and Plumbing Company.

Robert enjoyed reading the bible and participating in bible studies. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music.

Robert is preceded in death by his father; Nathaniel Mitchell, mother; Lona Mitchell, siblings; Tommy Mitchell, Willie Mitchell, John Sullivan, and Dorothy Dean Ann.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife; Canila Forte-Mitchell to cherish his memory, sisters; Thelma Chandler and Betty Ford, daughters; Danielle Hairston-Miles (Larry Miles), and Lona Mitchell, son; Bobby Summerall (Angela) Hodge-Summerall, step-daughters; Starlena Forte, and Lea Carter, stepsons; Andre Summerall (Drucilla), Mark Forte’, Lamon Forte’ and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family and friends whom he cherished.

Visitation 10:30 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Apostolic Faith Temple Church 1634 E Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205.

Interment Dayton National Cemetery date being scheduled.
