Robert Tucker, age 78. Sunrise January 11, 1941 to Viola and Robert Tucker and Sunset May 3, 2019.
Bobby attended East High School. After high school, he later married his sweetheart Eunice and out of that union came their daughter La’Shaunta Tucker.
June 1, 1960 Bobby joined Marine Corp Station Camp LaJanne until honorable discharge March 2, 1965. Return home began employment with general motors. 1973 he began apprentice Pipefitter School, 1987-1989 Apprentice engineering Draftsman School where he later began employment with dept of defense as draftsman while working at Columbus City School as custodian at Barrett MS until retirement.
Bobby is preceded in death by parents Viola and Robert Tucker, sister Gloria Jean Davidson, and great great nephew Isaiah Hasan Mark Washington.
He leaves to cherish his memory; aunt Ada Mae Ward, brother in law Stelbern L. Davidson, daughters La’Shaunta Tucker, and Kim Chandler, son Eric, nieces Lorel and Karen Davidison, nephew Stelbern L. Davidson Jr., great nieces La’Shaunta and Evan, Great great nieces and nephews DeJuana, Jalen, Michael, Carl, Zaria, and favorite cousin Diana (Carlos) Shaw and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Thursday, May 9, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Gardens.
