Robin Leigh Alexander, 61, was born August 29, 1958 in Cedartown Georgia. She departed this earthly life Easter Sunday April 12, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Robin grew up in Cedartown Georgia with her brother, Maurice Jackson and 4 sisters: Constance Gibbs, Dorothy Barnett, Elizabeth (Ellis) Kinnebrew and Carla Alexander. She was a basketball player for the Cedartown High School Bulldogs and graduated in 1976. She moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1985 to pursue a better life for herself and her children. She worked as a teachers’ aide and attended classes at Columbus State to become a teacher. She used those skills to become a home childcare provider until she retired.

Robin believed in second chances and always treated others the way she wanted to be treated. Family was important to her and they always knew Robin’s door was open.

Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Clarance R. Alexander and Frances B. Alexander and grandson, Ken McSpadden.

Robin is survived by her 5 children, Rhonte L. Alexander, Reagon L. Hammock, Rayshon L. Alexander, Robbin Rossi L. Winters, and Ryan L. Alexander; 8 cherished grandchildren, Kendric, Kenya, Kenon, Nicole, Alia, Shalynn, Xavier, Bryce; 1 great-grandchild, Kensley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

A special thank you to niece Lee “Puff” Jackson for her special support and unconditional love.

Robin will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
