Ronald L. Burk 80, of Urbancrest, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Buckeye Terrace Nursing home, Westerville, Ohio. He was the son of the late Vincent Burk Sr. and Margie Lee Burk.

He was preceded in death by brothers Vincent Burk Jr., Arnold Burk, Virgil Burk; sisters Lynn Burk and Mary (kitty cat) Skeaton, son Demetrius Burk, step-son Roy Lee Dozier, brother-in-law’s Levi Horton, Lindsey Brown, Wayne Brown and Joe Smith; sister-in-laws: Vera Mae Hammond, Eddie Mae Smith and Helen Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 27 years, Gracie Ruffin-Burk, five sons, Ronald Burk Jr., Sterling Burk, Brian Burk, Lamar Thomas, and step-son Calvin E. Tate; three step-daughters, Beverly Tate Jackson (Floyd), Gwen Coleman and Tywana Ruffin; sisters Ruby Griffea (Gaius), Lois Marie Horton, Patricia Burk and Rachel Maxine Wood; brother-in-law’s Pastor James Brown (Nora), Tommy Brown, and Ronald Brown (Lahoma) of Augusta, GA, Tom Smith and Mickey Smith of Savannah, GA; sisters-in-law’s Linda Hatcher (Bishop Angelo Hatcher); Elise Brimfield (Milton), Thomasina Brown of Augusta Ga, JoAnn Williams (Micheal) , Stell Smith of Savannah, GA; grandsons Sterling (Chiniqua) Burk II. Dylan M. Burk, Elias Jones-Burk, Justin Carter, Cameron Vines, Antione Ruffin, Elijah Thomas and Tre Hurt; granddaughters, Farries Robinson, Ebony Thomas, Jordyn Thomas, Jade Carter, Indica Coleman, Saleema Jackson and Olivia Ruffin. a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, December 3, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
