Ronald Lee Tucker

Ronald Lee Tucker, 73, went Home Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He was a native of Columbus and the son of the late Roosevelt and Edna Mae Upton-Tucker.

He was an active member of Second Community Church.He was a successful business owner, a Journeyman Ironworker November 1982 and retired July 1992 as an Ironworker of Local 172.

“Tuck” known to all, was an Icon and a strong presence on Columbus’ westside Hilltop. He graduated from Columbus West High School in the class of 1964.

Ronald L. Tucker is preceded in death by his brothers; Charles and Theodore Tucker.

He is survived by a loving wife of 53 years, daughters, siblings, grandchildren and great-grandson; Roslind Tucker, Trina and Terri Tucker, Darrell Tucker (Kathy), Karen Townes (Curtis), Marlon Tucker, Tera Tucker, Savon Gates and Ty’Mir Laws.

Visitation 9:00 AM and Prayer Service 10:00 AM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens

I can still see Tuck when I was 7th grader at West HS , carrying Rose’s books to every class and then run to be on time to his own . He was good friend and a true gentleman . A Hilltop legend in his own right . Rest In Peace My Friend .
