Ronté Savon Langhorne Sr., was born on March 3, 1989, to Ronnie S. Langhorne and Linda Langhorne (nèe Zeller) in Columbus, Ohio. On Saturday, June 4, 2022, Ronté, 33, departed this life and began his eternal rest.

Ronté spent his formative years in Columbus and moved to Cumberland, VA with his father in 1997 at age 8. There he attended Cumberland Middle and High School. He was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Cumberland where he was baptized in 2002. In 2004, he returned to Columbus with his father where he attended First Franklin Heights High School. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 2008.

Ronté worked several jobs in the food service and industrial industries to provide for his family. He believed in family – both of the blood and heart. He was a family man that loved his children and they loved their daddy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, listening to and making music, and playing video games. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Ronté was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Eliza Langhorne (paternal), Leon and Lucille Zeller (maternal), and his mother, Linda Langhorne.

Ronté leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Ronnie and Toni Langhorne, his fiancée, Shanika Parks, and their five beloved children, Ronté Langhorne, Jr., Riley Langhorne, JaMarco Langhorne, Harley Langhorne, and Nikko Langhorne, his siblings, Renardo Perry (Rebecca), Tanesha Williams (Edward), Ryan Perry, Dorian Davidson, and Travis Langhorne, his aunts and uncles, George Langhorne (Rebecca), Earnest Langhorne (Sara), Lester Langhorne, Bernard Langhorne, Dorothy Allen, Joe Langhorne (Sarah), Arlene Blake (Ajaye), William Jenkins (Barbara), Alfreda Zeller, Nonee Zeller, Carl Zeller (Celeste), and Nedra Washington, his cherished cousin Alexis Allen, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.

There will be a repast from 2 to 5 PM at the Eloise Event Center at 3634 Soldano Blvd, Columbus, OH, 43228. Flowers and/or memorial contributions to Ronté’s children are equally welcome. Anyone who wishes to make a contribution to his children can do so via their grandfather, Ronnie Langhorne.
