Rosalind Marie Simmons Moore, age 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 6, 2023. Rosalind was born on July 8, 1957, in Dothan, Alabama, to Willie Simmons and Mary Caldwell.

She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1975. She went on to have a long and successful career as a Therapeutic Program Worker for the State of Ohio at the Columbus Developmental Center.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Roz. She loved a quiet evening at home with her daughter and
granddaughter. In her spare time, she loved reading books and gardening. Shopping was her real passion. She
couldn’t resist a good deal. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant
personality was contagious to everyone she met. Her presence lit up the room. She touched so many lives with her
generosity and passion for life.

Rosalind is survived by her four children; Tiffany, Charles ll (Rachel), Andre (Shannon), and Cliff, ten grandchildren; Ashley, Derek (Elaine), Bri’anna, Jaida, Saniyah, Tyra, Charles lll, Ava, Alayah, and Ace, sister; Sabrina, niece; Tamika, Godson; Juan Jr.

Rosalind was preceded in death by her parents; Willie and Mary.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
