Rose Zella Bounds, 60, passed away on May 5, 2022. Rose was born on July 27, 1961 in Mansfield, OH to Homer Woodson and Joy Mack.
Rose attended Mansfield Senior High. She worked food service most of her life prior to health concerns. Rose loved people, especially her family and friends.
She is preceeded in death by her mother; brother, Leroy Guyton and grandmother, Rosie Bounds.
Rose is survived by daughter, Shante (Robert Marshall) Brown; son Darrell Smith; companion James Ginn; father, Homer Woodson; siblings, Mary (Greg) Simmons, William Bounds, Elgean Woods and Darlene Allen; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Tuesday, May 10 , 2022 at Providence Baptist Church 112 W 6th St.

Rose was always so sweet, caring, and always there to support whatever the cause was, she always had something positive and encouraging to say. She would always look for the good in others, she loved to cook, and was an awesome cook too, everything she cooked was delicious. Rose my very, very dear friend, I love you and I am sure going to miss you, and even though it hurts me so bad to know that I can’t see your smiling face, or hear you laugh, or hear you speak with your soft-spoken voice, I know your pain and suffering is over and I will see you again on the other side dear friend.

Your mom along with the rest of her family has treated me like family for 25 years I loved her like no one else. If I had never lived on Burns St. I honestly would have missed out on an amazing person.
