Roy Arlan Woodson-Levey III

WOODSON LEVEY

Roy Arlan Woodson-Levey III departed this life on September 2nd, 2017 while he was vacationing in Africa. Roy was a graduate of Mifflin High School in 1984 and Franklin University in 1992. He served his community as a tax consultant for over 20 years. Roy first and foremost loved his family. He will always be remembered for his corny jokes and his ability to light up a room with laughs. He was also very fond of cooking, fishing, barbecuing and his feather pillows.  Roy was very kind and was always willing to do  anything for anyone in need. Roy leaves to cherish his memory five beautiful children: Roy Woodson Levey IV, Brandon, Cheris, Gideon, and Quentin. He also leaves behind his parents Donald and JoEllen Gibbs and Roy Woodson-Levey Jr, along with 7 siblings: Gerald Weatherspoon, Greg Waters, Susan Levey, Angela Harris, Candace, Michelle and Naomi Woodson-Levey along with four grandchildren. Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, September 9th at Eagle Rock Church, 6810 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio  43147.

I LOVE YOU…TODAY

  2. Our lives are but a tapestry woven by God with threads of joy and sorrow, chaos and order. Roy’s life thread touched many with a kindness and love only he could give. But now the Creator of the tapestry has carefully folded it, placed Roy in a wonderful new container and taken him home. This son, brother, friend and father will be missed by all who knew him.
May God grant the family peace now and in the days to come knowing that Roy rests in the arms of God.

  3. Sending my love and prayers.

  8. To the family of Roy, you have my condolences in your loss. Death was never God’s purpose for the human family. He put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden (paradise), and they were to extend it, to have many children, and to fill the earth (Genesis 1:28). They were to live forever as long as they did not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, if they did they would die (Genesis 2:15-17). Very soon, God will reverse the effects of sin by eliminating death forever and all of His promises will come true! – Isaiah 25:8

  9. My deepest sympathy. Roy was the best.
