Ruth Renee’ Taylor was born July 8,1964 to Clair Taylor and Richard Wallace in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest of three siblings and was always very protective of them. Ruth was affectionately called RuRu, a name given to her by her oldest nephew Anthony.

At a young age Ruth accepted Jesus Christ at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed going to church with her grandmother and was spoiled ongoing by her grandfather.

Ruth was very excited to move to Cleveland, Ohio. She met so many new friends that new from the start she had a caring spirit and always taking care of someone else.

Ruth graduated 12th grade from Woodland Job Center. Soon after graduation she worked at Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority as a rental manager, where she helped as many as she could with housing issues. Her caring spirit lead her to nursing. In her leisure she liked to spend time with her family, watch movies, and listen to music (favorite artist Michael Jackson).

Garry won Ruth’s heart in 1994 and were joined in Holy Matrimony. To this union was born the love of her life a daughter Kaila Renee Harris.

Ruth took the hand of Jesus on May 1, 2020 at Mount Caramel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a short illness.

Ruth was preceded in death by her grandparents Sinclair and Ruth Taylor in 1982.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, husband Garry Harris, daughter Kaila Harris, three granddaughters Londyn, Jessica, Destini mother Clair Taylor, brother Richard Taylor, sister Carla Taylor and many nieces and nephews.

Private Visitation 4:00 PM and Memorial Service 5:00 PM Saturday, May 9, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

Mask are mandatory.
