Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Daughter, a Precious Vessel shaped by the Hand Of God, was sent into this world with a Gift of Love, laughter and the thrill of life that she reached out, touched, and shared her strength to family and friends. Always seeking Peace and Giving what she had.

Sandra Novella Hairston was born on July 27, 1966 to the parents of Suzanne (Sue) and McGlenard (Mac) Hairston, in the city of Columbus, Ohio where she attended the public school and graduated from Northland High School.

Sandra enjoyed family and always brought a since of life to the room where-ever we gathered. She enjoyed church and surrendered her life to Christ in 1979 and was Baptized at Church Of Christ Apostolic Faith. Sandra continued to Seek the Will of God for her life as she attended different churches in the community.

She was blessed with two children, a son Terrell Hairston and a daughter Tejuanna Wiley. She was employed by several hotels where she enjoyed house-keeping and keeping a smile on her clients faces.

She is survived by her parents, Suzanne and McGlenard Hairston, son Terrell and daughter Tejuanna, one brother McGlenard (MC) Hairston II and two granddaughters, one grandson a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

Private Visitation 4:00 PM and Private Funeral Service 5:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

    It was NEVER a Dull Moment w/ Sandy! What would be a shopping trip would be a trip out of town! I Remember finding out we was cousins when we worked at Falters. That was a very special time knowing who my family is! She was very special to me and there WILL NEVER be another COUSIN/BFF!
