Sandra Renne Mclendon-Kendrick, affectionately known as “Renee”, finished her journey here
on earth surrounded by family, and friends on May 14, 2023.

She was The first born of the late Dorothy Annetta Boffman-Hunt on December 17, 1957 in Jenkin Jones, West Virginia.

Sandra is also preceded in death by her devoted husband; Walter Kendrick, baby sister; Racene Boffman, and her son; James D. Mclendon (Jennifer Mclendon).

Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife. She also was a caring, giving and Christian bearing Woman of God.

She is survived her daughters; Jocelyn (Carl) Green, Silvia Staffard, Angela Mclendon (Archie) Tonisha Mclendon, and her youngest son; Terry Mclendon(Ammie), siblings; Regina Caldwell, Reginald Boffman,Robin (Willie) Rodgers and Roshalle Yarbrough.

Sandra was blessed to become a grandmother of 17 plus grandchildren, and lived to see her one and only great-granddaughter.

With the love and support she received from her devoted daughter, Angela and Grandson Isaiah, Sandra was able to live a happy and peaceful life despite being ill. The love and support she received from her spiritual daughters, Sherry Calhoun, Zshanna Calhoun and Carmen, made her final days comfortable, and unforgettable.

Services will be held June 2nd at Marlan J Gary Chapel of Peace, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm and services at 2pm. Pastor Leon Rodgers will do the honors of speaking words of comfort to all in attendance.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
