Savon Lamont Ligon, age 20. Sunrise July 9, 1996 and Sunset July 7, 2017.
Preceded in death by mother, Erica R. Whitney; brother, Thomas Dortch; grandmother Crystal Ligon.
Left to cherish his memory; father Kevin Ligon; grandmother, Kimberly Whitney; grandfather, Arliss (Dena) Whitney Jr.; brothers Da’join and Keon’ta (Whitney) Kevin Jr., Christian, Karmelo (Ligon) ; sisters Keenae Butler, Victoria Ligon; aunts, Ebony Whitney, Christina (Mark Thomas) Allen, Julie Whitney Scott; uncles, Brandon (Kristine) Martinez, Tyler Lockett, Arliss K. Williams, Jermell S. Williams; special cousin, Ke’shun Shaver; nephew, Zilyn Butler and a host of other relatives and friends who love him dearly.
Visitation 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 Southfield Community Church, 1399 Augmont Avenue.

I watched you grow from a boy to a special young man. You are such a bright caring person and the bond that you had with Cameron and Jazz was a blessing. We love you like family and you will truely be missed. Rest in Heaven.

Savon you were like a lil brother to me, and had the biggest smile with ya optomism and dopest sense of style..ya helped me develop my own more..your like real family rest easy. Your forever missed and loved.
