ShaKeia Simmons was born at OSU Hospital on June 18,1991. She was the first born child to parents Paula (Simmons) Smith and William C. Terrell. Proceeded in death by Sister Bri’Ann Duerson, Grandmother Thornetia McCoy, Grandfather William Geiger, Great- Grandmother Delores Dunn.

Survived by mother Paula (Charles) Smith, father William (Erica) Terrell, Son Nisier Simmons- Terrell, brothers KeShawn Simmons, Daylan Smith and Braylan Duerson, sisters Teazijah and Analya Terrell, stepbrothers Tyriek and Tyriel Tatum, Phillip and Kyshawn Dunn, Stepsisters Kristen, Dominique and Jalisa Dunn, grandmother Frances Terrell, special aunts Tiffany McCoy and Yvonne Terrell, special cousins Shardai Dunn and Simone Smith, special friends Dominique Williams and Brian Williams and a host of other Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and friends.

On the morning of August 24, 2016 ShaKeia Frances Da’Nae Simmons went home to be with the lord unexpectedly.

ShaKeia attended Whetstone High School and worked most of her young life as an office worker. She was a real fashionista and a true “DIVA”. She could do anything she put her mind to. As a young Child, she was always happy and smiling and she “loved” cheese. All who knew her were instantly drawn to her charming personality, beautiful smile and funny humor. The most important person in her life was her son NiSier. She would always say “me and my twin”. He was her inspiration for everything she did in life. ShaKeia was a great mother, daughter, big sister aunt, cousin and friend. She was Baptized at St. John Baptist Church in 2002

 

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Friday September 2, 2016 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
