Sharon Lynn Smith, affectionately known as “Noose” was born January 29, 1973. Noose departed this life on July 2, 2020 at the age of 47 surrounded by family and friends.

Noose was a graduate of Columbus Public Schools and worked at Comfort Suites and Church’s Chicken for many years. Noose loved to cook and clean.

Noose was preceded in death by her grandfather, James E. Smith; grandmother, Sharon Marie Smith; brother, James Earl Smith; husband, Antwan Milton; stepfather, Steven E. Michael; and uncle, Gordon Hagwood.

Noose is survived by, father, James Goolsby; mother, Mabel D. Michael; brothers, Jason Smith, Justin Goolsby, and Jeremy Smith-Goolsby; sisters, Patricia Smith and Jakita Smith-Goolsby; children, Antwannisha Smith, Antwannieka Milton, Adrianna Milton, and Antwan Milton, Jr; grandchildren, Rae’Janae Milton, Damariana Milton, and Theodore Collins III; 9 nephews, 13 nieces; caregiver, Tjuana Meadows; and a host of other brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, great aunts, cousins, and friends.

Private Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Monday, July 13, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
