Sharon Marie Smith
, age 74. Sunrise May 30, 1940 and Sunset December 11, 2014. Sharon was born in Columbus, Ohio and attended Columbus Public Schools. She was a member of Church of Christ of The Apostolic Faith Brentnell Ave. She worked at OSU and was a Foster Mother for Franklin County Children’s Services. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Mable M. and Harry Dean Broadus Sr., grandson James Earl Smith, former spouse James Earl Smith, brothers Leroy Rogers, Nathaniel Broadus, and Harry Broadus Jr., sisters Betty Tucker, Mary Jane Banner, Virginia Coleman, Frances Broadus, Jacqueline Broadus and Ruth Turner. Left to cherish her memory, daughter Mable D. (Steven) Michael, sisters Patricia (King) Smith, Charlene D. Backner, Esther C. (Donald) Ferrell, Emma Simms, and Rebecca (John) Hunter, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Church of Christ of The Apostolic Faith 1200 Brentnell Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

Our sincere heartfelt condolences go to all of your family on the loss of Sharon. May knowing that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many bring a measure of comfort, we look forward to the time when all things that cause death will be eradicated, aging and death will no longer happen, as imperfection and bad conditions will be things of the past. Isaiah 65:17-25. – Take comfort in knowing that her memory lives on in the hearts of many!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life….Sharon will enjoy her beautiful eternal life.
