On June 5, 1969 an angel was born, Shirelle Lynn Collins. She went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2017. Shirelle was a member of the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, and also a member of the Flames Motor Cycle Club for over 15 years. Shirelle graduated from Eastmoor High School in 1987 and attended Devry for Dentistry. She was employed by the Red Cross and Riverside Hospital.
Shirelle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard (Myrtle) Calhoun, and U.B. (Cliffie) Collins.
To cherish her memory, she is survived by her parents, Wanetta Collins and Donald (Bernice) Collins; two sons, David (Andre) Burdine-Collins and Bobby P. Rogers Jr.; sisters, Keisha (Jerome) Collins-Smith and Tiffany (Wayne) Straughter; one beautiful granddaughter, Ja’Naijah Marie Obey; aunts, Jackie (Carl) Lewis, Brenda Calhoun, Linda Collins, and Beverly Hawkins; uncles, Steve Collins, Ronald (Eva) Collins, and Terry (Crystal) Collins, cousins, friends, and God Children whom she loved dearly; Kiara, LaToya and Tionna Patilla; special friends, who were dear to her heart, Veronica Green, Cheryl Thornton, Sharon, Nichelle and Nicole Beckham, Verita Bumper, Linn Parker, Misti Ross, Bonita Lewis, Dana Moore and so many others.
Visitation 6:00pm Funeral 7:00pm Friday March 17 at Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 858 E. 3rd Ave.
