Condolence from John Posey on April 14th, 2020 11:16 pm

God used Willie Carr as I knew her in 1975 to change the trajectory of my life and ministry. She was instrumental in exposing me to truth that laid the foundation of my ministry over the last 45 years. My wife of 40 years and my mother were both ministered to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit in our home at 9 Glen Este Place in a little room in the front of our home. Willie was there with me as both of the most important women in my life experience God at a whole new level. She gave me a book during that time as well that was instrumental in the my ministry for year to come. God bless this woman of God, and may she continue her ministry of prayer for us all. Blessing to her family. All the best and May the Lord comfort you. John Posey Atlanta Ga

Willie is my first best friend and spiritual mentor when my family and I moved to Ohio almost 30 years ago. She is a child of God and raised a wonderful daughter. I thank God for allowing me to have her as friend.

Rev. Willie L. Carr was our dear beloved Sister in Christ! Her effervescence, vivacity, and enthusiasm for our Lord Jesus Christ was second to none! I am certain she, her mother, and mine are shouting all over God’s heaven! She called me recently and we have a wonderful conversation! God could not have blessed her with a better daughter than Dr. Adrienne Carr.

Dear Adrienne.
So sorry to hear of Willie’s passing it was truly a shock to me. Yesterday I saw the notice in the Cincinnati paper and felt like I had been punched in the gut. I have known her since 1959 and still see her smiling and hear her laughing. We had so much fun. Then she and my sister got their first apartment together. They thought they had really done something. Willie was like another sister. I truly will miss her. I am praying for comfort and peace for you during this loss. I can’t even imagine you two not being together. Please get in touch with me soon. May God hold you close and give you strength .

Condolence from Pastor Felicia Bagneris on April 18th, 2020 12:33 pm

To the Family of Evangelist Willie Carr – my heart is heavy at the passing of this great woman of God. She was one of the first persons who befriended me upon my official transfer from the 5th District to this 3rd District. She also had an uplifting word, and her smile will be missed. God’s comfort be yours. May she rest in the arms of her Savior.

Sis Car was wonderful to me! She was my Encourager, my Confidant, Prayer Partner, Mother in Ministry, Fellow Laborer in the Gospel, Example of a Christian with integrity and my Friend. We had a very special texting relationship, we talked on the phone, but mainly through text. They wee mostly random, but always encouraging. I loved and appreciated her to life and know she love me and wanted to see me succeed. I will miss our special connection, but will forever treasure how God blesses our paths cross.

May God bless you family and may God use your special memories of your Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt and Friend bless and comfort your heart and bring you peace.

Your Sister in Christ,
