Stanley Michael D. Ragland Sr. was born to Jesse Jr. and Alice Ruth Ragland on March 30, 1960 in Talladega Alabama, but made his home in Columbus, Ohio.
God called Stanley home on April 18, 2023 as he transitioned to be with the Lord.
Stanley was well known as uncle ”Stroke Dogg”. Stanley work multiple job’s and was a painter and Interior Decorator. He loved church, playing the drums, bass guitar, singing, dancing, clothes as well as shoes and jewelry, but most of all he loved his hat’s and keeping his hair done. He also loved the lady’s and being around his family and friend’s. His favorite song is by Lakeside, (Say Yes).
Stanley is preceded in death by his mother; Alice Ruth Ragland Jordan, sister; Belinda Ragland All, grandparent’s; Eugenia and George Franklin, Jesse Sr. and Josie Ragland, aunts; Maryanna Dickerson, Evelyn Franklin, Willa Dean Ragland, Patrica Howard, uncles; George, Harold, Harry Franklin, William, Larry, Steve Ragland.
Stanley leaves to cherish his memory, children; Shawndell “Herb” Nichols, Antonio (April) Hardiman, Jerel Green, Stanley M. Duke, Gracie Woodruff, Stacia Ragland, brothers; Terry (Patrica) Ragland, sisters; Phededa Franklin, Medric Ragland and a host of grandkid’s, great grand kid’s, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and Friends.
His very special friends – The Howard Family and Jerry Pleasant.
