Stephon Decotoa Jackson age 34, of Columbus Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 7, 2021. He was born January 6, 1987 in Columbus Ohio, to Rhonda Jackson & Stephon Jackson Sr.
Stephon attended Dublin Scioto High School where he played football from the age of 7 all the way to high school as he had a love for sports. After graduation Stephon married Stacie Jackson and had two beautiful children Elijah and Amara who is the love of his life. Stephon was a happy guy, he was always smiling and laughing love to dance and joke around and love hanging out with family and friends, and he loved making rap s with friends. Stephon worked at Massey Pizza.
Stephon is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs Asa & Eula Jackson and Mr. & Mrs. Isaac & Juania Jackson. Uncles Derek Johnson, Ike Jackson, Alan Jackson.
Stephon is survived by his daughter Amara G. Jackson, Son Elijah Jackson, Mother Rhonda E, Jackson (Shauron), Father Stephon Jackson Sr. Aunts, Tonya (Eddie) Banks, Lisa (Michael) Mosley, Valerie Jackson, Deauntay Jackson. Uncles, Maurice Jackson, Shawn (Lona) Jackson, John Henry Jackson. Cousins, Timika Boyd, Ashley Jackson, Philip Freeman, Malcolm Jackson, Michael Mosley Jr. Mya Jackson, Tahj Jackson and a host of other cousins. Best Friends, Corry King, Miguel Gilbert, Doug Peterson, Jessie Thomas, Mike Moore, Kevin Partridge, Eric Miller, Melissa Davis, and Melody Rooney. Stephon will truly be missed.

Having a solid friend now a days isn’t easy but they’ve made it happen. I just hate that we lost a good one but I’m glad they all got each other to lean on
My sincerest condolences to Stephons mother, Rhonda and his beautiful Children, as well as the rest of his family and friends. My heart broke when I read about Stephon’s passing. I remember staying up with him and my children, cooking, baking, and making up dance routines until sometimes past 2:00 in the morning(boy, he loved to dance). Sometimes it would just be me and Stephon dancing because the other kids tapped out; he would have danced until the sun came up if I let him, but he’d hear his mamma’s car pull up and his butt would run up the stairs to get in his bed and pretend like he was asleep. He wanted to learn how to slow dance so he could dance with a girl at school, so we spent hours practicing. Back then, Stephon just liked everyone, he was always kind and happy and the little things in life brought him joy. Reading all of his friend’s posts, it appears he never changed( he still Loved to dance, was kind to all, and remained happy ) and I’m so thankful he enjoyed and relished the 34 years of life he lived! He was taken from this world too early, but God must have needed him for something amazing. Rest In Peace Stephon.

Oh so sad and shocking to hear this. Stephon was a classmate and close friend to my two sons, Corry King and Larry King Jr. when we lived in Dublin Ohio. My prayers are with his family at this very sad time.
There are no words to console anyone on the loss of a child. I know he was also much more, a father and so much more to those who knew and loved him. The family is in my prayers. May God grant you peace at this difficult time.
