Condolence Messages

  1. Steven Sr. & Sonja Grant

We’re certainly going to miss your smile, your laughter as well as the joy you have brought into our home. Stevie Grant’s family, along with the Brotheren’s (Ron Mapp Sr., Johnathan Garnett, Steven Grant Sr. and Richard Malone) are all going to miss you. Rest easy my brother: Steven Douglas Shelton.

  2. There are no words to express the sorrow in our hearts. Please accept our deepest sympathy. When we lose our love one in death it’s the most difficult time in our life. However there’s loving comfort in Psalms 55:22 to throw our burdens on God and he will sustain us. No matter what we are going through God is there to help us through it.

  3. Sending our deepest condolences from your Riverside family

  6. Kevin Lamarr Jones & Family

This is absolutely stunning. Despite not being in constant contact in recent years, the exchanges on FB always made me reflect upon growing up not far from Steve and his fam. I honestly cannot recall a time when there was not a spirit of laughter and fun whenever Steve was around. We literally lived across the alley that separated Homestead from Ontario. I can’t help but laugh as I reflect upon either the pick up basketball games in his driveway or those “football” games on Maynard where the end zones were Homestead and Ontario. So I pray you Rest In Peace friend. To Steve’s fam, hopefully the knowledge that you have a legion of folk bombarding Heaven will allow you to experience a modicum of peace that truly passes all human understanding. Godspeed.
