Susan Marie Cummings, age 66. Sunrise July 9, 1954 and Sunset February 7, 2021.
Susan was the oldest daughter of 8 children. She attended Pittsburgh Public Schools; and graduated from Oliver High School. She worked and became a student at Carnegie Mellon University.
In 1989, she packed up her family to move to Columbus, Ohio. She persevered though many trials and tribulations. Her hard work and dedication paid off. She started her own business “Excellence Resource Transportation Services.” She was a savvy businesswoman.
Susan loved her family. She always stepped up to help and support her siblings, children, and grandchildren. She had a gift for plants and gardening. She loved music. You could always find her jamming to Alexander O’Neil, Paul Hardcastle, The Whispers and so much more. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 23.
PUBLIC Visitation 1:00 PM and Memorial Service 2:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
