Mrs. Sylvia Jean Brown, 80, made her transition on October 7, 2022. Sylvia was born on September 4, 1942, in New York, NY to Nathaniel Johnson and Ida Hunter. Sylvia was Married at the age of 19 to Hayden Lambright and bore two children: Constance and Kevin. After several years, she divorced and began to rebuild her life and Married Sydney Brown.  Through that union, two children were born: Roman and Shalena. Sylvia loved all her children unconditionally. She was a great friend to many and adored her grandchildren.

Sylvia is survived by her daughter Shalena Berry; son Kevin Lambright; son Roman Brown; brother Stanley Armin; sister Paula Dickson-Taylor; sister Maisha-Elaine Baye; brother Roy Johnson; grandson Maurice Lambright; granddaughter Kawanna Lambright; granddaughter Ebony Lambright; grandson Prince Lambright; son-in-law Shawn Berry; daughter-in-law Laverne Hugine-Lambright; granddaughter Monet Robinson; grandson Gary Smith; granddaughter Lenasha Smith; granddaughter Nashale Smith; granddaughter Imani Smith; granddaughter Dominique Lambright; granddaughter London Madison; granddaughter Shaliea Brown; granddaughter Jaliyah Brown; grandson Javonne Brown; granddaughter Hydia Brown; daughter-in-law Sheena Bythewood-Brown; granddaughter Shamika Pease; granddaughter Meoka Brown; A host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren, loving step children, friend Joann Bratton; adopted daughter Felice Horton.

The family would like to thank everyone who sent their well wishes and prayers throughout these last few months. To the family, remember that whether you knew her as mommy, grandma, friend, sissy, or aunt she loved each one of you the same “You are all her favorite” She is resting in peace, and if ever you miss her look toward the moon at night, and you will see something bright on the right side of the moon twinkling. That’s not a star, that’s her way of winking at us reminding us to love one another as she loved us.

Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Covenant Believers Community Church, 99 Commerce Street Lockbourne, Ohio 43137

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
