You will continue to be in our prayers. Syretta has touched so many people in so many ways. It would take days to list them all. Syretta, you’ve fought a good fight and you battled till the end. But Jesus needed another Angel on his team and he chose you. Until we see each other again. I love you. “Nunie”

  3. Stephanie Knights

Our hearts are saddened by Syretta’s absence. We will continue to pray for the family. We all will miss Syretta greatly, but find comfort in knowing that she will no longer be in any discomfort. We will always remember great times with Syretta including her laughing about charging $5.00 at the recreation center for activities. She wanted to make sure her cousin paid for entry too. We loved Syretta and will always keep her memory alive in our hearts.

  5. My sister,my sister, my sister, so beautiful was she. I understand God’s plan and this is a part of it. In order to understand you must first see the light and once you see the light of God you then begin to hear the sounds of God. My sister was that light for me, the hugs and her telling me how much she loves me keeps my heart in the right place. To my nephew and family she was the greatest. My big sister. May her soul rest in peace. Tellom and dad and Donnie and Deb i love them
I have many reasons to cry but yet i smile because her memory will always be with me. Love and respect. She so beautiful ❤️.

  6. I love and miss you Syretta. Rest In Peace.

  7. Ms. Syretta was a beautiful person inside and out. Also, she was extremely friendly and never met a stranger. She was the main reason I decided to work for the City of Columbus Recreation & Parks Department. She gave me a lot of advice and encouragement over the years as well. I will truly miss her and am sending my prayers and condolences to her family and friends.
