Tamara Lynette Dodson also known as “Rudy” was born February 27, 2003 in Columbus, Ohio. She went home to be with the Lord August 25, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio.
Rudy was a very talented dancer, and a great leader. Rudy started her dancing career at the age of 8 with Platinum Divas. Dancing was her passion, it came so easy to her. All who came in contact with her grew to love her.
Rudy touched a lot of lives. Her life was taken too soon but the impact she has made during her time on earth is something to remember.
Tamara is preceded in death by grandmother Sandra Dukes, Maxine Dodson, and Aunt Sherri Dukes.
She leaves to cherish her memory with mother Leslie Dodson, Glen D. Stewart, stepfather Michael Johnson, siblings Tiffany Dodson, Juan Nicholas Jr., JaywuanCraine, God mother Jeanetta (Timothy) Armistead, special friend Lisa Jordan, and Belaune Gravely (Coach B), also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many of friends.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Saturday, September 1, 2018 at True Love Ministries, 1634 Minnesota Ave.
rudy wasn’t just my friend , she was like family . she was such a character & i love every bit of her . i’m hurt , she always keep me smiling, she always text me talking about everything , we spend nights together, walk together , imma miss everything about her . i’m going to pray for everyone especially your family , we may be hurting but rudy isn’t she’s safe & resting & upset that all of us are crying . I LOVE YOU RUDY & I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET ABOUT YOU – love your midget keke see you at the crossroad .

Baby girl was so amazing and caring. One of the best things I noticed from the first time I met her, she was Love. The kind of love we as family grow to mold. Her Love was already completed God used her to mold us to love like Rudy.

To the Family of Tamara (Rudy) Dodson-
Words are inadequate to sufficently express my condolences and to convey the depth and profundity of the sadness I have felt since I received the news sitting in church last Sunday. Tamara was a member of my D.I.V.A. Gurlz at Champion MS. She embodied the “V” for Vivacious in DIVA. She was gregarious and full of life.
I pray that God will grant you comfort during this time. Remember that this is not the end. I Thessalonians 4:13-18 reminds us those who die in Christ will live again. My prayers are with your family.
