Tameila S. Dixon

DixonTameila

Tameila Shyrae Dixon was born July 4, 1991 in Youngstown, Ohio to Sylvia Starkey and Thomas Dixon. She went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2019.

Tameila was an amazing person with a beautiful spirit. She had a smile that could brighten anyone’s day, and a contagious laugh that would make even the saddest person smile. She loved anyone she came in contact with. She was known as the turn up queen and the life of the party. She enjoyed laughing and spending time with her friends and family. No matter how you were feeling, when she laughed, you laughed.

Tameila lived her life unapologetically and definitely on the edge, but that’s what made her special. You couldn’t tell her nothing and she always had a thousand different slogans she would say. She made sure she celebrated her life while she was here, now it’s our turn to celebrate for her as she transitions.

Tameila is preceded in death by her unborn child, grandparents Marjorie, and Frank Starkey, Barbara Dixon, and Frank Payden all of Youngstown, Ohio., great grandparents, step-father Richard Watkins, aunt Cindy Dixon, nephew T.J Tarver, and 3 close friends Trevon and Tyrell Smith, and Ramel Hayes.

She leaves to cherish her memory, parents Sylvia Starkey, and Thomas Dixon, sisters Marjorie Starkey, Ebony, Latasha, Paris, and Latresse Dixon, brothers DeCorian Starkey, and Damon Dixon, long time lover and also the father of her unborn child De’Michael Johnson, God daughter Kylah Boykin, special cousins Michael Starkey, and Shaquaila Johnson, best friends Jemeika Dinskell, Jasmine Hollinshead, and Keon Chism, close friends whom were like sisters Jumeece Brown, Te’Eaira Gordon, and Shannon Holbrook, also nine nieces, five nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
