Tanya Marie Wyche, also known as “Muff”, 48, of Columbus, went home to be with our Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 2, 2020. Tanya was truly known to be a ball of fun. No matter who surrounded her, she was making you laugh. She loved to sing and had a voice of an angel. She sung through any circumstances and always found the joy in everything. Her cup was always half full, not half empty. She enjoyed doing hair and was absolutely good at it. Funny fact about her is she was known to “rough” up her boyfriends. Muff also had a strong love for kids. So much that she ended up having a son. There was always a kid on her hip. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandbabies. She attended Whetstone High School and Mifflin High School. She also worked for The Ohio State University in the past. Tanya will be beyond missed by her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her mother, Annette Wyche; her father, Roy Arter (Tina Arter); her stepfather, John Chambers; her son, George Collins; her brothers, Keith Wyche, Roy (Pepe) Taylor, and Terry Arter (Angie Arter); her sisters, Felicia Wyche, Shaydell Arter, and Angela; her grandbabies, Geor’Shiya Collins, La’Shauri Collins; and her Goddaughter, Mikeyonnia Mitchell; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lillie Arter, Gladys Wyche, and Billy Wyche.
Visitation 11:00AM and Funeral Service 12:00PM Monday, February 17, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

My heart hasn’t been the same since you left us. I had just talked to you and we laughed about things you had sent me to look at. Accepting that you are no longer here is a hard pill to swallow as the tears run down my face. From Windsor Elementary, Ridgeview Middle to Whetstone..we were close. We were known as “The Fatgirls” and didn’t care what others said. You will be missed dearly as this isn’t good bye its see you later whether its in spirit when you talk to me or in our due time to venture. I will love you and our friendship for eternity. Fly high baby!!!

Muff meeting you in Windsor and how we came friends and how we turn up as my apt became Frenzo 2 the “after hours” lol yet we had fun and our ups and down….how we dance, clubbing in my early years Windsor became my family…I was shock to hear you was sick as we both had our own Tea to drink…you was Muff A.k.A. BIG MOMMA ROMANCE with the biggest crush on My brother..the party’s the late night singing and tripping…You Was my friend and Homie on 12th and Vesta where it went down at

My Condolences to the family who was a huge part of my upbringing in Windsor Terrace. Muff I’ll always adore you, your love for me, and that smile I can’t remember ever seeing you without. Who can forget the “Wyche” laugh that brought warmth and funnies. I’m just grateful to be able to remember your life of fond memories of our childhoods. #neverbeforgotten
