THORNTON,
Tasha M. Thornton, 38. Sunrise May 6, 1975 in Atlanta, GA and Sunset November 8, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Devry Institute of Technology, was employed at J P Morgan and Chase and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Tasha was preceded in death by her father Norman R. Jones, grandmother Roena Watson and great grandmother Luella Sherfield. Left to cherish her memory, mother Diane Watson, son Darel Jones, daughter Tiane Jones, brothers Daryl (Kimberly) Watson and Anthony (Rickya) Watson, sisters Jacqueline (Ivory) Jones and Patricia (Tony) McNeal and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Condolences for the family of “Tasha M Thornton”
I have only known Tasha a short time although i will always remember her beautiful smile she had. Even on her days when i saw her not feeling well she had her smile. Tasha was very strong in her battle with her illness but she kept on smiling and pushing on with her life. She is at peace now no more pain,medicines,or Doctors. To the family Tasha has a new body and she is at peace, may you find comfort in knowing God has taken over and taking care of her now.
We send our condolences to the family at this time, the few times I met Tasha she had me laughing she was always happy and smiling through it all. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Love you family

Tasha I know we lost contact but I cant forget the memories. We had a ball! You always did things first and I'm older!!!!!Now you are the first to meet our father. I will see you again friend you just wait and see! Thanks for that beautiful smile it was always need to keep me smiling. May God Bless your children and family during this time of grief. and you rest peacefully now.

To the Thornton Family, My heart and prayers are with you on this day. I know it is hard to imagine that happy face not around us anymore, but she is truly, truly more happy now. No pain, No treatments, No medicine, No more doctors visits. Tasha is enjoying her new life as we speak!. To her Son and her Daughter, you shall always hold onto those precious memories of her that you will have forever. You hold your head up Darel !!!
Our deepest condolences to Tiane and Darel, and the Jones family. Tasha was a good friend, we are really sad to hear of her passing. Please know that we'll keep you in our thoughts especially throughout the holiday season.
I want to send my deepest condolences to the Family of my dear Friend Tasha M Jones Thornton. I had the pleasure of working with Tasha the past 8 years at JPMorgan Chase. Tasha was a beautiful, upbeat spirit with a never ending smile. Tasha will truly be missed.
