Miss Tee/Ara La’Cole Turner (Tee Tee) age 31 was born in Columbus, OH to Ara Phillips and Thomas
Turner II.
Tee/Ara Turner graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 2009. She was a Veterinary Tech
at Northwest Career Center and a participant of the City Year Youth Program. She later changed her
career path and became a (PCA) at various facilities throughout Columbus Ohio. Tee/Ara was known for
her loving spirit and fierce personality. She was the life of the party at any family gathering. She was that one that to took all the pictures with everyone and who would highlight every detail through Facebook Live.
She was truly that essential piece that will be missed by us all. She was a loving mother, sister,
daughter, niece, and friend. We will love and miss you forever Tee Tee.
Tee/Ara is preceeded in death by maternal grandparents; Diane “Tippy” Ervin and HaaRun
Phillips, paternal grandparents; Mable Turner and Thomas Truss Sr., uncles; Edward “LeRoy” Phillips,
HaaRun “Calif” Phillips, Kenith “Moeguy” Harris III, Sam Turner, Clarence Minniefield and DeShawn
Coffman, cousins; Kenneth “Kenny Man” Turner, LaRhonda Turner and Tasha Turner.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory to her mother; Ara Phillips, stepfather; Pepe Johnson,
father; Thomas Turner II, daughters; Queen Diane Turner and MiJournei Keaton, sisters; KyAra and
Thombreka Turner, DaJahne’ Johnson and NaTasha Beard, brothers; Sam Aaron, Thomas Turner Jr. and
K’Juan Beaver, 3 nieces and 6 nephews, auntie-mothers; Shameka Phillips, Sally and Sandra
Turner, uncles; Shawn “Colonel” Ervin and Willie Penson, favorite sister-cousin; Dianez (Meka) Penson, best friends; Jasmine Saffell, Shane Brown and Unique English, significant other; Lorenzo Keaton, special friend; Georgio (Butter) Fagain and a host of many other family and friends.

Her light will continue to shine through Queen and Mijournie. I knew her sweet soul since she was a little girl. She will be sadly missed but never ever forgotten. May God wrap his arms around all her family, loved ones, and friends. May he give them strength and comfort them. May he hold them up on every side.
