TeVon Charles Holmes, affectionately known as Tay, Tev, Turtle, and Toot, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 26th, 2022, at the age of 28.

TeVon is survived by his mother, Robin Holmes and father, Jamyl Whiteside. TeVon is preceded in death by his grandparents, General Jefferson Jr., Phyllis Marie (Long) Jefferson and Emmanuel Whiteside, Betty Jean Whiteside.

TeVon was the eldest of his paternal siblings, Jamyl Copeland; Jamilah Copeland; Jada Collins; Jordan Collins and Marqicha Hampton… and affectionately the baby of his maternal siblings, Tia Ray, and Deon Taylor.

TeVon was born December 9th, 1993, at The Ohio State University Hospital. He attended Marion Franklin High School on the Southside of Columbus. He often spoke of plans to pursue higher education in the field of archeology among many other interests. TeVon enjoyed writing, music, and sports. TeVon loved his family and spoke passionately of one day providing for his loved ones, hoping to one day have a family of his very own. He will be deeply missed by his family, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and cousins.

Visitation 9:30 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
