Tommy Clyburn was born December 3, 1962 in Greensboro, N.C. and was raised in Columbus, Ohio.
Tommy graduated in 1980 from East High School where he was dominate in all athletic sports. He meant it when he said he was a Tiger!
God called Tommy home Saturday, July 13, 2019. God had said to Tommy “my son your time here on earth has come to pass, come my child to your Heavenly home.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents Diane Scales-Hale, and Clarence Scales, stepfather Charles E. Hale, Sr., grandparents Mae Ola Giles, George Tyson, Joseph Hale Sr., Margaret Hale, sisters Debra Herbin, Kathy McCoy, and Michelene Johnson, niece Tiarra Hale and cousins, Turhan Hale and Charles McCoy
He also had brothers; Charles E. Hale Jr., Clarance Scales, John Scales, Byron Hale, and Darryl Weaver, sisters Dieadra Bowers, Frieda Hale, and LaTanya White.
He leaves to cherish his memories, children, Tom Busby, Tomica and Cherika Jackson, he was also a loving grandfather to Sir Tom, BJ, and Naomi, aunts Jean Clyburn, Mable Weaver, and Gail Blakney, uncles Charles Tyson Graylin Clyburn, special friends Pamela Eberhart, Kevin, David, and Victor, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at True Love Ministry 1634 Minnesota Ave.

The impact of Tommy’s infectious smile in addition to his free & loving spirit still remains. All the childhood dances, and school activities memories will forever bring a smile to my heart. It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.
